In the back of this area is a crate with Uncommon Item Components and a Shard. Upon entering, immediately walk to the right past the shelves. They'll let V and Jackie in without much fuss. Approach the intercom and let them know Dex sent you. (You'll need to have this amount in order to, you know, buy it.)Ĭhoose your option, then, if you're ready to take on the mission, follow Jackie across the street to the All Foods gate. We'll pay again, but with Militech cred.Doubt this'll go smoothly (implying a fight).Jackie isn't thrilled about Maelstrom and wants to know if you have a plan to deal with them. Once you're done with the small talk, choose the Maelstrom option. As shown below, if you're a Nomad, you can talk to him about his motorcycle, and depending on your attributes, you can even comment on how it's built. The most important thing here is to talk to him about Maelstrom, though you can strike up other conversations. Jackie is waiting for you on the side of the road. In case you haven't checked that in a minute, you can find the Cyberdeck menu on the bottom right of the Inventory screen. V will give a verbal confirmation that the Shard is clean and you'll find the new Quickhack in your Cyberdeck called Synapse Burnout. Once you've input that you'll not only have neutralized the malware, you'll also get a new Quickhack for free. There are multiple ways to get to the solution too, though! If you're having trouble with it, here's the hacking sequence we used: So, you'll be working toward this code: BD BD FF 55 1C E9. The last number in the first code, 55, is also the start of the second sequence, which is how it's possible to get both. You need to do this perfectly in order to get both rewards. To do this, solve the bottom code first (BD BD FF 55) followed by the top sequence (55 1C E9). The goal in decrypting the chip is to not only copy the daemon, but to also clean the money. However, if you start seeing the data go wrong, you can back out of the menu with no consequence and try again. There's a chance you'll lock yourself out of the chip with only partial information. We recommend doing a manual save before attempting this, just in case you mess up. You don't actually need those codes for anything, though. You’ll still get the case with the Flathead so you can absolutely complete the mission this way if you want to spice up the fighting and tone down the dialogue. You can bypass conversations and instead go in as aggressively as possible by destroying the turrets and blowing up the mines at the entrance of the Militech base.
